Just a new experiment, I decided to publish a honing journal.

Initial keenness: HHT-5 on coarse hair and HHT-4 on extra fine hair (my interpretation).
Usage: each razor will be stropped and used every single day for a week, then the next razor, etc...

Honing and touchups will appear in the spreadsheet as they occur:

Thanks Sir Bart,

I have a razor that last spring was honed by you. I don't shave with it (only 1 or 2 times) because is my main reference for HHT and microscopic inspection. This is just a way to measure/track my "honing skills".

So far I'm very pleased with my Unicot edges, not so yet with Dilucot, sometimes is great, sometimes is so so. Unicot is so consistent. It just works for me.

As they say... "you can't Improve what you don't measure [and practice]".

Great spirit.

Dilucot takes time to learn. But a Unicot edge shaves just as well.
