Hi folks,
nothing really to do with razors but I'm so proud of myself I just have to tell somebody.
Today, I put my Tadafusa Santoku (jap. kitchen knife) on the hones. I went through the choseras 1000, 3000, 5000. I passed on to the 10'000 with a slightly increased angle in order to polish a secondary bevel. Then I finished with afew laps on chromium oxide and some passes on a self made leather strop.
I could not resist and went to the bathroom to grab a hair from my honey's brush and tried ..... PLING !! WOW! The blade actually passed a solid HHT4 on about 2/3 of its length. :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:
Boy, do I feel great!!
Cheers
