Brush and soap:
Oumo Brush LE 095/102 / silk HMW gel tip 26 mm and TFS Crazy Sandalwood:
The jar of TFS Crazy Sandalwood is showing pretty much the bottom. That's a shame, because I think this soap is one of my best sandalwood soaps. With the Oumo Brush LE 095/102 / silk HMW gel tip 26 mm it is very easy to create a nice creamy lather. Too bad this soap is not made anymore.
Blade and razor:
Used the Lord Super stainless Classic for the 7th time.
The Lord Super stainless Classic is after 7 times still good to use, so it may tomorrow another turn. That will be the last. Shaved nice and smooth again. In the Ikon X3 is the Lord Super stainless Classic barely noticeable present, however after three rounds I am shaved smooth without fuss.
Result: BBS.
Finally: some sting of the Ilgaz Düzce Tütün (Tabac) and then TFS Crazy Sandalwood ASB and Provence et Nature Santal Absolu to take care of the skin and hold the nice scent of the sandalwood.

Completely unexpectedly, I stumbled upon a new shaving soap brand called Macduffs soap company. They had a soap in their portfolio that aroused my interest by its name alone, because let's face it, calling a shaving soap "Lychee is a stone fruit" raises questions.
The lychee in itself has a good fragrance but is that something for a shaving soap?
Isn't the scent too sweet?

Well upon entry, I quickly removed the lid and lathered up the soap and what appears to be a lovely fresh fruit scent that has become incredibly enchanting to me, what do I say one of my favorites this has become.goodjob!

First shave with the R41. In fora you read that the R41 and R41GS shave the same but thats not the case, the R41 feel very mild.

Brush and soap:
Mühle Silvertip Fibre® 21mm and Extro Holland-Wetshavers-Belgium soap:
The Extro Holland-Wetshavers-Belgium soap whipped up with the Mühle Silvertip Fibre® 21mm is easy to use right out of the jar. Lathers up nicely on the face. Extro foam, so fine and also a fine scent. Nice start.
Blade and razor:
Used the Lord Super stainless Classic for the 8th time.
The Lord Super stainless Classic still shaves fine. Yet it has disappeared into the piggy bank, because 8x is really enough. Even when I use blades 5 times, the stock is more than enough to get me by until I'm 140. At my average of over 7, I need to get to 166. That's definitely not going to happen. The Homelikeshaving TAIGA AISI 316L (satin) again gets everything out of the blade and the shaving feel compared to yesterday's Ikon X3 is a world of difference. The Lord Super stainless Classic feels a whole lot better in the Taiga. Good feedback and great cut. Did set the razor a bit higher, for the skull on 3 and face over 4. Comfortable.
Result: BBS.
Finally: appropriate finish with the Extro Holland-Wetshavers-Belgium Edt and Extro Holland-Wetshavers-Belgium ASB. Too bad that these products do fade quickly. Now an hour and a half after shaving, the scent is still very vaguely present.

Etos oil
La Maison du barbier synthetic brush
La toja shaving stick
WTF slant + unbranded personna blade
De vergulde hand alum
TFS witch hazel
Erica rooibos as lotion

Staying at a small campsite in the Bourgogne. So no warm water. Cold water shave works surprisingly well.

Shaving with Kepkinh's Frosty Lemon remains a treat.
A fantastic smell, very good shaving properties as it provides both a nice glide and protective layer on the skin and the amount of menthol provides an extremely fresh feeling.

The Gillette Rubie in combination with the Mühle R41 provides a smooth result but compared to the Mühle Rocca the shaving feeling of the R41 is much less pleasant.

Brush and soap:
Luyixian Synth-24x68 and Stirling Gatlinburg:
With the Luyixian Synth-24x68 so from the pot the Stirling Gatlinburg lathered up and a solid layer of nice Stirling foam on the head. Nice firm lather with the smell of wood fire smoke, whiskey, leather etc., as I expect from a lumbering town at the foot of the Smokey Mountains, which Gatlinburg is.
Blade and razor:
Used the Kai Stainless Steel for the 3rd time.
The still razor sharp Kai Stainless Steel for the 3rd x in use. These blades keep their sharpness for a long time. So for now, this one will do for a while. In the Mulcuto Schrägschnitt (metal) the Kai Stainless Steel is absolutely top-notch. A nicely effective and at the same time forgiving combination. Shaves the skull with ease, without the feeling that it might bite. The face also easily smooth, so again completely satisfied.
Result: BBS.
Finally: some Ilgaz Düzce Tütün (Tabac), Cien Men Hydro Moisturizing and Pinaud-Clubman After shave lotion Original on it, which nicely underline the scent of the soap.
