Removing Tape Residue

Rubbing Alcohol on a piece of tissue works for me, sometimes the blade will show a little staining after I have honed on tape, in that case I use Peek polish (like Marrs...spl?)on a soft cloth.

Best wishes

Well, my SWMBO does not paint her nails. I'm afraid we are far too "blue collar" for such nonsense. However, I do use a fair amount of acetone while making intaglio prints and also while engraving - so I am never really far away from it at any time. :p

There are certainly a lot of ways to remove tape residue. I use MAAS a lot for restorations so that's what I use for tape residue as well.
