Two bouts - confirmation of layer please

Hi all,

a friend of mine got two bouts from a local hardware store. We both would be interested in a layer ID or a confirmation of my assessment, respectively.

Number one is a natural combo measuring 12 cm along the longest diagonal. It shows some pale yellow holographic lines and some manganese spots. It is a hard stone, making slurry on it takes some time. The speed with slurry is moderately fast with a faint hissing sound of abrasion. It stays reasonably fast as long as slurry is present and turns towards the slower side on water only.
The most interesting aspect is the fact that there seems to be a hybrid layer between the blue and the top yellow layer.
Putting all facts together I would classify this as one of the rather rare hybrid La Veinette.

I did not sharpen a razor with number two yet. By first glance I thought of a La Petite Blanche. But those are usually natural combos too. Next in line for this color and the vivid layering would be a La Dressante. This assessment is also supported by a distinct odor when I lapped it. It smells like Tigerlilly , although not quite as intense.
So my guess would be that this is (another) La Dressante.

Now I'm curious how many points I got

Cheers

If I remember right the white lines in the BBW indicate the La Veinette layer, so the top coti should be one. If I had to guess, I would say dressante for the bottom coti too.

First one is a nice La Dressante - upper layer, with a piece of La Dressant au Bleu, burried underneath.
Normally they cut the slice on the border between both sub-layers, but apparently they did not in this case, likely because the "au Bleu" was not thick enough to cut it at the transition line.
n°69 of the Vault shows a thicker piece of LA Dressante - upper layer, that is glued to slate.

The second one is indeed one of the blushing La Petite Blanches,

Kind regards,
Bart.
