What fabric is this?

So recently I found a piece of fabric, stored away a few years ago, of which I want to make a fabric strop to replace the Poly webbing on my Rich Man Strop.

I'm not a fabrics expert, so I'm not sure what it is. Looking at the weaving and color, could this be Linen?
