Durham Duplex

This story starts with a find on a antique/flea market today:

A Durham Duplex from the 20's. I already had some in my collection and was surprised that my favourite forum didn't even had a thread. I'll have a go...
Durham Duplex has its own chapter in Waits Compendium. I see them a lot in the wild here, there must be a lot of them. But this is my small collection:

Reading Waits, the story starts with a more shavette style, or "Barber type" from 1910's

This example comes with a stropping tool and belt, but the razor is still double edged.
Within the DE realm: the recent acquisition mentioned above should be from the 20's. This one with aluminium handle is from the 40's:

The next one being one of the T-variations?

I do not know when they stopped making razors, but when investigating a couple of years ago found that the blades were still used in Dog trimming. I thought about ordering some blades, but ever got around to it. The Durham duplex still has a site (part of Personna?) Has anyone used them with new blades?

The only modern blades you should use in a Durham Duplex are Personna Pathology blades.
Anything else that fits is for trimming pet hair, not for shaving.
Two problems:
One: Even the pathology blades are not really great blades, but they work OK (unlike the doggy blades)
Two: They are difficult to get hold of. tryablade.com used to have them, but they don't seem to be around anymore.
