This looks almost like a Mulcuto. The patent on the base plate is indeed a Mulcuto patent number 490330 (filed between 1929-1930).
The base plate shows the Patent number and also says Foreign patent; possibly because it was sold outside of Germany as well.
There were straight razors with the Name of Heinrich Gunand.

The difference with Pre war and post war mulcuto is the number of needles/teeth in the guard. Mulcuto has six, this one has seven.
Another difference is also in the base plate, the bottom is flatter than the pollopas one and also a bit rounder on the edges.

Magdeburg was/is a German city that was bombed in 1945 by the US and the UK and rendered into a parking lot, the Americans came in and then left it to the Soviet Union. Some say, it was destroyed just so that their ally the USSR cannot use its industry nor the expertise of its people. So, they made sure that the infrastructure and the residents were destroyed. A few years later, it rose from the ashes and decades later united with the rest of Germany and even ventured into Electronics Fabs. Magdeburg in old German means the mighty fortress. It was destroyed several times in its history.

You gotta give it to the Germans, they always come back. You can take them down but they always came back up. Mighty Nation! "A suivre", with current events.

This is really interesting. An exact copy of a Mulcuto razor, except for the "toothing". Great find Walid!
Honestly, I bought it because I liked the presentation. Looked vibrant like almost new. Then I thought it was a Mulcuto with a black basplate then turns out there were differences.
Mulcuto had one less needle tooth and the ones I have never put the patent number on, nor wrote "foreign patent" on the base plate. Another this is the base plate is a tiny bit flatter on the bottom.
