Home-made strop

Materials(all standard eBay)
- 2 1/2 inch veg tan cowhide
- 2 inch D rings
- 1/4 inch Chicago screws
- Swivel hook
- Saddle soap (optional)
Tools
- Stanley cutter
- 3/16 leather punch
- Screwdriver

Now if only I could find a source for 2 1/2 inch herringbone pattern linen....(anyone ?)

It may not be what you want but StraightRazordesigns sells various replacement linens for the strops and if you ask nicely Tony Miller may sell you a piece of linen as you desire. his site is theWellShavedGentleman I believe. And others will share sources too perhaps.

They are very nice thats for sure.

Very nice, as for the linen. I can't help with that pattern but I use a 3 ply denim which works a treat.
