Were you impressed by the "Star safety razors and accessories"? Well you're in for a treat again. You will never see as many razor tins as in this book. But it's not only that, You also get the tin variations.
All colours, great paper quality and solidly glued.
It's more expensive than the other book and includes the Kampfe Tins in the previous book but it's well worth the price.
It's mostly a photographic reference, but you know what they say: A picture is worth a thousand words.
The author (a legend in the razor collecting community) expressed his love for the razors in tins from his collection and he would gladly trade the tin for the box. You see, back in the day people used to trade razors and not sell them. If they buy them, they would buy them from an estate, a fair or an antique shop. But collectors, most of the time traded razors.
Some Razor Tins you might never heard of:
The Germans produced a lot of them and so did the Americans with Kampfe Bros (German immigrant) and ASR (copied Kampfe, then bought them up).
This book is a must and a reference for any solid vintage razors collector.
