Torolf strops.

A while ago i purchased a strop from Torolf 5cm wide and 50cm long with brown covers according my taste.I am feeling obliged to share my findings.Torolf is not my childhood friend and do not sent me the strop as gift, but i have to say his strop is excellent.The leather is extremely shoft giving an ultimate touching. The drag is moderate as required according my opinion.The linen is the known pure linen which for me is the best one ,is exactly similar with which i replaced my kanayama linen. When the leather is normally stretched presents a minimum radium ( positive arc) favoring the edge.Gary got his own ,sending to me a PM ,wrote: Its all i need. my kanayama is brill but this strop from Torolf is even nicer.

Well,now I`m looking even more forward to have my refurbished loom strop back from Torolf!
And he is such a friendly guy too:thumbup:

He will treat the two sides of the loom strop slightly differently so one side might be used with TI and the other just clean buffed leather.

I was with marty today. we did some stropping and i sharpend up a wedge for him. I used the torolf strop. marty loved it just as i did. Torolf i think you may receive an email from marty?

i have several strops . I have tm's and a srd and a kanayama. there all very nice . The torolf strop is no dout my favourite up to yet. the draw is amazing. Itsb like the leather has a good draw,but no clinging or sticking etc,just nice smooth awsome draw . the linen is perfect for after coticule. the handle is just so neat. its just great for travel. I've met torolf and i new he was into his leather. i did'nt realize he could whip up such a good strop.

if any one is looking for the one and only strop i just found it.

emanuel did recomend it to me and i'm glad he did.
