Any ideas what this stone is guys?

You own a Mondeo! Oh eck!!

Envy is a bad thing Ralfy..

Yep,a `96 Mondeo not a `98 like said. And a Toyota Aygo 1.0 with 68 fierce HP`s

Guess I gotta try honing a razor on that stone. Btw I think it`s darn ugly..

Torbs

Hahahaha

I used to own a Mondeo! So I understand completely hahaha

Yes it's worth a go on the Moughton for sure, tbh I didn't find the shave any nicer than a properly done Coticule edge.

Mac! nice to see you my friend, I will do my best to try it out in the next few days, I actually thought of you when I started trying to figure out just what it was, hows the TOS?

Best regards

Heya Ralfy!

Hmm...green TOS is a splended thing, for sure!

Incidentally, remember me asking you about the Yellow River Oilstone?
Well, i discovered, after rummaging in the stone box, that i had another one i'd bought and tested about 1.5 years ago...though it was unlabled and i didnt know what it was until i aquired the labeled one. (I thought i was a WOA, at the time. )

If memory serves, the results were very similar to your tests, except i was able to get quite a nice finishing edge off it, if i used oil...for some reason water wouldnt take the edge to a good shaving condition i like.

Anyways, though you'd want to know. Hehe.

Thanks,

Mac
