hello! which is more indicate for the paste stropping?

i think that the hanging strop with crox "oversmooth" the edge...

I start with 10 passes on a short strop with sparingly applied crox and give it 5 more if needed. Anything else is work for the hone.

For pasted stropping my recommendation goes to paddle strops or loom strops.
For everyday stropping on linen and leather,I am convinced that hanging strops are the way to go.

Kind regards,
Bart.

if you are finishing on your Nakayama you should not be needing CrO with proper use of the stone.
I only use CrO ona leather bench strop.
