A brand I'd never heard of, and then I found they, too, had their name attached to a SuperSlant. A short screw, silver razor that came to me in a, not photographed, mismatch case, this one is looking really great, even the paint, green!, in the dot is still there.

I also have never heard of the brand and it is unusual that they got in on selling a razor that even Merkur and Hoffritz did not sell a lot of.

Meanwhile I found out a bit more about the brand. Gino Bartali was a cyclist who won the Giro d'Italia and the Tour the France several times before WW2, and once both after. His name and image were used by a Milano razorproducer, however I'm not sure whether HE was that producer or only licenced name and image. I do know however that in the same era, there also was Fausto Coppi, another famous Italian cyclist whose name and image were used for razor blades.
Bartali blades were sold as well the different thicknesses had different, cycling related, brandnames.
This razor came to me NOS, and couldn't have arrived at casa efsk without the help of a Danish, a German and a Italian friend. Thanks all!

I was yesterday in a bookshop. They had a little book about Gino Bartali. In big races there is an commercial caravan with advertisers.
