I bought a smiths abrasives diamond sharpener yesterday at Lowes. It isi the orange (fine) 750 grit stone. I lapped 8 hones and set 3 razors on it without any wear at all. for 22 dollars this thing is excellent for those on a budget. It comes with a case that doubles as a base as well. The stone is 2.5X6 inches, not to big but not to small! It works perfectly for hard barber hones.
