Combo Coticule ID

I bought this stone for a friend and evidently he didn't want because it is mine now :) Honed a razor with it last night and this stone was very easy to use and provided a lovely shaving edge. Now I'm curious about what vein it comes from. I tried to ID it myself by comparing it to pictures from the vault, so I think it is either a La Veinette (which was my original guess, but this stone has a different BBW to Coticule transition than the La Veinettes in the vault) or a La Petite Blanche (which I am bit skeptical about because my small La Petite Blanche bout has a whisky/carvy feel on water whereas this stone has a soft/velvety feel on water). Perhaps it is neither? Your thoughts? My apologies for the poor photos - I'm not much of a photographer.

After the Jeremy post ,i am very disappointed ,because i purchased a La petite blanhce from the Superior shave.Jarrod is a very kind and organized men.The coticule has been sent no register on February 17.Up this moment nothing received.I need courage ,what's your opinion ? lost or i have to wait? Up this moment nothing lost from my previous orders at US but never delayed so much.
Best regards
Emmanuel

Emmanuel,

It took me three months for a small package from Ralfy to arrive to me in the US from the UK. I know it's not fun, but I don't think you should be worried just yet :)

Best regards,

Paul

Emmanuel, I hope your stone arrives safe and sound - it is beautiful  It looks to be about 40mm x 175mm, is that the size?

I hope you get it soon, Emmanuel. Jarrod also may have a sense of how long it takes these days. Problem, of course, is that postal time these days is somewhat erratic.

I would give it up to eight weeks at the moment. Security measures were tightened some time ago, and ordering from the US can be a true test of patience sometimes these days.

Good luck,
Robin

The one on the right (next to the one you ordered) is mine and it is 40X200. Emmanuel, I hope your coticule arrives soon. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences when ordering from Jarrod at TSS so I'm sure your stone will arrive soon. It really is a shame that international shipping has become such a problem these days.
