Coticule selection offer

A few cracks and imperfections on the sides and combo side, but the cracks are stable and the imperfection (seen well in the slurry stone pic) is easy to avoid and can probably be ground out with some light sanding.

They also threw in a beautiful slurry stone that probably has almost as much surface area as the hone.

Can't wait to use this lovely bit of rock. Thanks again Bart.

By the way, you can have the attached images show by using the IMG tag and using 1 through 5 as the URLs.

I got mine today!! Even better than I thought it would be.

SINCERE,

WHOLE-HEARTED,

THANKS TO BART.

Your heart is big and generous. I (and all of us here) are most appreciative.

Also, a pledge: I will never mock from this day onward, even as a joke, any female, or for that matter any male, who harbors an unhealthy weakness for natural stones, whether they shine or not.

[small][sub][sub]Denny, we need you here ... [/sub][/sub][/small]

Well, if there is, I have it, too, and could care less. I got my La Grosse Blanche today and it is truly remarkable. Thanks, Bart. I almost don't want to use it and destroy the oxidation layer that is so cool.

Maybe the oxidation lends special properties to the surface...:) You never know...
Before you know it, you'll be ordering a tanning bed for your Coticules. :D

Cheers my friend,
Bart.

You really made a lot of people happy with your personal pilgrimage, Bart. Adding that much good into the world is worth a lot. D

I have been sick the last few days and haven't been able to play with the new coticule much, but I did hone a couple razors and I'm discovering the joys of hand honing (vs. bench honing). This stone is the perfect size to hold in my hand, and I'm finding that I really enjoy it.
