Create topic and replies resetting themselves

I am not sure if anyone else is having this problem and it only occurs here for me. When I create a topic or reply or even edit a post I have made I have to copy each pst because when I hit the create topic or post button my post is lost and space and I have to do it all over. Not usually more than pnce but it is frustrating when you type a long topic or reply only to see it disappear without posting. Is this happening to anyone else?
Thanks,Scott

This site taught me the valuable lesson to use the "control + a" and "control + c" commands before hitting "post reply" every time

I do Paul Thank you for the shortcuts. I was doing it the hard way:p I use Safari on Snow Leopard 10.6 or later

Yep. Safari seemed to be the culprit with me too.

I use Safari with 10.6 Snow Leopard and have never had a problem. I'll be watching for it and will use the shortcuts for a while just in case. Thanks for the head's up.

I am sorry that some of you loose your typed texts at times. It's something we've been trying to figure out for a long time, but have not been able to pin to a cause yet. There has been a Firefox version heavily affected by the problem, but the latest versions have been less affected. I presume we all loose a text every now and then (I lost a long one on Badger and Blade the other day), and if you didn't think to put a copy on your clipboard before hitting the submit button, that can be a real bummer. Unfortunately, I have no other advice at this point than to use the suggested "select all" and "copy to clipboard" shortcuts of your browser. Perhaps our system administration team can come up with a more permanent solution one day.

Best regards,
Bart.

Well its a known issue so thats what I wanted to know. Thank you for the reply Bart and good luck finding the bug. Regards,Scott

I will try using a different browser then. IE9 is not an option for me as suggested by Hakan.

I was actually attempting to insinuate that if you had "recently upgraded to IE9", that IE9 was a plausible culprit.
Sorry for the unclear answer.

Im running firefox, chromium, uzbl and a few more and havent had any problems. IE9 has been messing up computers in my immediate vicinity in so many ways Ive lost count, which is why I asked about it.
I do not recommend it. I am, however, not the final authority on browsers either so if someone has it and it seems to work, good for you! ;)

I use Safari and have had this issue as well. I just make sure to copy my post before hitting submit, should it get lost somehow. Thought I was the only one.
