Davies Rythmic adjustable, made 1930s in Glasgow, Scotland

I'm not always great at determining what is zinc/zamak and was isn't. My re-platers can confirm that! Regarding the Rythmic it looks to be brass if you look inside the screw-holes. Also, the wear on the rings on my one razor indicates brass to me underneath the plating. Whether every part is brass I couldn't say. Perhaps the bars that seem vulnerable to breaking off on the Rythmic might seem to be more like zinc/zamak. I'll have a closer look next time I happen to see a broken one, for that telltale black or grey colour of zinc/zamak. Hopefully someone else may know.
Brass usually bends instead off just snapping off, that's the only reason I suspect zamak.
