I got two new Coticules and I'd love some help in identifying them. The red stone is fast, about as fast as my LPB on both slurry and water. It darkened slurry in one or two sets of half strokes and would start to darken water in just a couple dozen passes. The lighter striped stone was medium fast on slurry, and was slow on water.

The second one with the stripes is a La Dressante ....
ok, I'm probably wrong but I have to practice ;)

The one on top, I don't really know. Could be La Dressante or a glued Les Latneuses, or even something else.
The bottom one is definitely a La Dressante.

Kind regards,
Bart

Thank you all for one ID. The second stone looks like it will stay a mystery, for now.

I think the first one is a glued LPB, but I know very little about strata identification. I do know a little about LPBs, though, and it has several of the characteristics of mine. The performance described gives me a little more confidence in that, but I certainly wouldn't take it to the bank
