Dear ladies, gents, others
Here's my Dr Lay slant. Slanted in the iKon 102/Mulcuto kind of way, not torqued like RR Wunderbar, Merkur 37, Fasan.
Semi-heavy for a plastic razor, this weighs in at a full 21 grams!
The shipper shows us that 1. It calls itself the total shaving machine (der Volkommene Rasierapparat) and 2. It's from the Reichsmark-era, also latest 1948. As Dr Lay was located in Wuppertal-Barmen between 1948 and 1957, this is one of their earlier products: produced during 1948.
The razor has a serious slant, and is OC, although the fat teeth make that you do not really notice the latter. It actually clogs easily for an OC. Rinsing often however, this razor shows itself to be VERY effective, without being very aggressive. As it's not angle sensitive either, I'd say one of the easiest BBS you can get.
