Good stuff to start the day with. Shavemac Silvertip D01 2 band bulb 24 mm x 50 mm Jungle Moss is a sturdy brush, which knows how to handle the TOBS (Taylor of Old Bond Street) Platinum. Although the cream comes in a nice box and has a great fragrance composition, Top: bergamot, pear, Middle: violet leaf, sandalwood, amber, Base: benzoin, tonka bean, musk, I get no further than a light pleasant barbershop smell. I have to try very hard to smell all these fragrance notes. Then I still do not succeed. That doesn't make this cream better or less than other Tobs creams. Gives fine foam, shaves and cares well, but for a nice scent I prefer a hard sandalwood soap from Tobs.
Blade and razor:
Used the Greif Gold (carbon 0.06mm) for the first time.
Nice thin blade from the old times, Greif Gold (carbon 0.06mm). This razor is so thin, that it almost flutters like a sheet of paper. Old-fashioned carbon blade, so quiet shaving, but then also a nice soft result. In the RazoRock Game Changer 0.84-P, the Greif Gold (carbon 0.06mm) is nicely mounted and they form a comfortable combo.
Result: BBS.
Finally: although there is zero lavender in the Tobs, a lavender finish is perfectly appropriate. So PeReJa Lavender edc, Weleda Aftershave Balsam and L.T. Piver lotion Lavande for the conclusion.
