Lucky Tiger After Shave
The GZD Berber Stick Shaving Soap lathered well with Tom's B400 2-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gold Dollar 280 straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Filarmonica 14 w/fricot scales (could use polishing)
A baby filarmonica (10-11?) for the hard to reach places
Krem Do Golenia shave cream (Amazing stuff!!)
My new favourite brush..The Jayaruh 436 badger brush
Clubman pinaud whiskey woods aftershave
I thought I’d take these old straights out for a shave today…after a careful strop they were ready to go…these old Jose Monserrat blades really sing!!! The small one is not very good in my opinion or rather I have a hard time using it this shaving crème was a gift that came with the purchase of a razor from a generous member here, and I was surprised just how it lathers up so amazingly well it felt just like I was painting my face and thank god it was slick as I’m a little clumsy sometimes with these razors and it saved me this time as I have a cut free 2ish pass shave and I’m done! Touched up with a vintage Schick m34 injector adjustable and just like the kid from home alone I finished it off with the clubman whiskey woods that is a little subtle scent not over powering but it sure reminded me that I shaved a little too close!! Or maybe because I forgot the preshave?
