Gillette 1921 Bostonian Razor Three-Piece all Original Plated Silver. The razor is 102 years old and looks like it was made yesterday. The teeth of the open tooth comb blade guard have withstood the test of time wonderfully with NO breaks at all. The handle has No Cracks whatsoever. The weight of the razor is 78g. Serial number 760683A.
All three pieces fit precisely as they should and lock down properly. All Original Gillette manufactured. This is one of the best Gillette Bostonians' that I've seen in a long time, This Razor Has Been completely Cleaned and Polished. It is a must have for a Gillette enthusiast and is Absolutely shave ready. Also included is one Pal Razor Blade Still The Original Envelope.
The New Improved was supposed to be easier to clean, a bit more durable and lessen the chance of nicks and cuts, perhaps by holding the blade more securely. These great-looking, great shaving razors were made from 1921-1928. In 1921 Gillette released the New Improved razor with the heavier flat guard.
