Hammersfahr cie. Schwimmer .. date around 1900 to 1940. I was told that Hammersfahr did not return after the 1940s because the steel went somewhere else at the time. after that it no longer started as I understand. Too bad they made really good razors.

Nice, I have my grandfather's Gustav Hammesfahr no 26"schwimmer" which is all chipped and rusty unfortunately. I've been looking for another since unsuccessfully.
