We tuned our classifieds/market place section a littel bit. 
We added a plugin so that the very first image you upload in your Ads will be shown as a thumbnail in list view in the classiefieds/marketplace section.
If you post an Ad without images, the b/w graphic camera icon will appear in list view.
This is all fully automatic. You donot have to do anything.
