Howdy all

I just joined. I have been a straight razor owner for about a year or so. But only really got into honing and, after doing that successfully, shaving with straight razors recently.

I've found a razor I might buy, but wanted your opinions on it before buying it as I'm a poor student.

Hopefully I'll have attached two images to this post. I don't know anymore about the razor than what's shown in the images.
The price asked is 70usd.

It seems to be in good condition..a bit of tarnish near the edge,but otherwise it`s a beatyful razor. Dont know about the maker of this one,but surely some of the guys do.70 USD does`nt sound unreasonable,if the condition is as good as it seems to be.

Marx & Co is a good brand, and the third pin indicates this is on of their higher end razors. Manufacturers usually didn't bother with a third "resting pin" on their basic blades. I appears to be in good condition. 70$ is a fair price, in my opinion.

By the way, I took the liberty of scaling down your pictures. You could go back in you post with the edit button and see how it's done. It's easy.

A really nice blade IMO, and oh, I'm such a sucker for 3[sup]rd[/sup] pins... I wouldn't mind adding a 4[sup]th[/sup] one! : :

Ahhh...but if I ever called you a perfectionist(surely I never did ) its because you are a...perfectionist!
