Brush and soap:
J&T® Padoek finest 2-band badger Virginia Sheng and Le Père Lucièn - Rose de Pushkar:
In the context of brushes and soap, J&T® Padoek finest 2-band badger Virginia Sheng and Le Père Lucièn - Rose de Pushkar compare today. I can be brief about the soap: much better than the TDS, but that is reflected in the price. The smell is incomparable, but the shaving technical side is not that different. The knot of VS is just a bit slacker, than the Oumo, the J&T® Padoek is a bit more delicate, than the J&T® Zebrano, so the Zebrano just feels a bit heavier and actually is. Okay, so this morning the Padoek has a nice froth and that's a fine brush, which is more than comparable to the Semogue SOC badger. This makes the order of these good brushes pretty clear. I don't have to elaborate on the LPL soap, it's just great.
Blade and razor:
Used the Racer Super Stainless for the 4th x.
The Racer Super Stainless continues shaving nicely. The previous one had 6 average shaves, and this one goes pretty well that way. In the super light Mulcuto Schrägschnitt (plastic) the Racer Super Stainless shows its full potential. Without effort all around nice and smooth shaved.
Result: BBS.
Finally: The finish again with roses from PeReJa Rose edc, a new purchase from a Turkish Supermarket: Naturlife Krem Vazelin Gül Ve Aloevera Özlü, which is a hand and face cream with roses based on vasaline and provides a nice smooth not greasy skin. That stuff costs little, €2.49 which smells good and takes good care of the skin. Now 3 hours later the skin still feels fine. Extra scent of the Rose Fernelle Provence et Nature Edp.
