The beautiful Graydog synth that was a gift from @gvw755 and is one of two brushes I still use (out of 9 available) created a perfect lather out of the Eufros Tobacco, a soap I'm finishing which is no punishment as it smells great and shaves great, too. It's just that there's too many soaps in the cupboard, and this was halfway gone to begin with.
The Mars is developing into a great, efficient little shaver. Although little ... It is a bit clunky and takes a bit of practice to get all hair from under the nose. The SE plates seem a bit more aggressive than the DE plates (or the Personna SE blade is just way more aggressive than half a Voskhod), however, just going one pass with, one pass against the grain gives a beautiful BBS. This razor may be butt-ugly (reason I bought it in the first place, sorry Rob!), and nylon may not be everyones preferred razor material, but this razor deserves to be more than a gimmick.
