My shave week begins on Monday, so for this week I have chosen my Gillette English Flat Bottom NEW razor. It is certainly one of my top razors. This one came as a Dicolette model. I did not like the short handle, so I procured a Ball End handle from the era. I made the case for it from some burl I cut from a tree behind my house.

Here's the shave. The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #119 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette English Flat Bottom NEW Razor and the PolSilver DE Blade blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
