Brush and soap:
Oumo Brush SHD G5 26mm and Musgo Real classic soap:
A shave I always look forward to a bit is with the Musgo Real. So with pleasure and the Oumo Brush SHD G5 26mm the Musgo Real classic soap foamed up in my Grail. This is really old fashioned good lather from a nice hard soap with the classic Mediterranean scent of good shaving soap. Delicious.
Blade and razor:
Used the Rapira Platinum Lux for the 6th time.
The blade, the Rapira Platinum Lux is still doing fine for the sixth time. With the Merkur 38C HD Long Handle Barber Pole, Rapira Platinum Lux forms a nice basic setup. Very easy razor, effective and at the same time comfortable. Means touching up some spots, but that's what I always have to do with these mild razors.
Result: BBS.
Finally: some Musgo Real classic AS and Musgo Real classic ASB, nice. Nothing more to do!

Brush and soap:
Maseto Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush - Memphis and D.R. Harris Sandalwood:
Using the Maseto Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush - Memphis, made a fine lather from the D.R. Harris Sandalwood. Good soap and so lather, not an overpowering scent, but a nice one.
Blade and razor:
Used the Rapira Platinum Lux for the 7th time.
The Rapira Platinum Lux still gave a fine shave and could have been used one more time if necessary, but it was fine like this, so piggy bank. In the Gillette Slim adjustable, the Rapira Platinum Lux was usable on setting 5 for the skull and 6 for the rest. Clean shave.
Result: BBS.
Lastly: treated with Ilgaz Düzce Tütün (Tabac), Proraso Wood and Spice ASB and Loris E-197 Zarkoperfume Oud'Ish Edp. Was fine again.

LiJüN silvertip 3 band and The Dutch Barbershop Herbal Grinded Lemon:
LiJüN silvertip 3 band and The Dutch Barbershop Herbal Grinded Lemon are a guarantee for decent old fashioned lather. Slight lime scent and nice greasy lather.
Blade and razor:
Used the Gillette Rubie® Platinum Plus for the 1st time.
A fresh Gillette Rubie® Platinum Plus is fine for a smooth shave. This morning I have the impression that I like this Gillette better than my long praised Rapira Platinum Lux. Not that the latter is not good enough, but it felt really good this morning. Maybe it's also because of the Mühle R94 Rocca, which I used for the 27th time this morning, that the Gillette Rubie® Platinum Plus felt so good. I am going to appreciate this Rocca more and more, as an easy effective razor, which shaves effortlessly smooth. This one scores high with me.
Result: BBS.
Finally: some nice citrus to it from Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Kolonya Klasik Limon, neutral care from Nivea Soft and Pinaud-Clubman Citrus Musk Eau de Cologne for an extra nice smell.
