My Wickham Soap Sheridan's is still from the old production and is no longer made. The soap maker stopped making it for a while and sometime in 2018, I think, he picked up production again with the soaps in the white jars of today. My old soap is great stuff. Nice caramel-like, spicy and something of leather in the scent and produces fine lather. The Oumo Brush SHD G5 26mm loads easily with it and forms a firm dense lather.
Blade and razor:
Used the Kai Stainless Steel for the 5th time.
The Kai Stainless Steel blade just keeps going. This 5th turn it again flashes through the beard effortlessly. The efficient, but anything but gallant, Rockwell Razors 6s with plate 5 is good with the Kai Stainless Steel. Smooth shave, without having to do any significant touch-ups. Actually, at least for me, all those plates with that razor are of little use. Occasionally I'll use 4 if the scalp is a bit sensitive, but in general 5 is common for everything.
Result: BBS.
Finally: finished with Ilgaz Düzce Tütün (Tabac), Naturlife Krem Vazelin Argan Ve Aloevera Özlü and Pinaud-Clubman Special Reserve, which combines well with the Sheridan's.
