Ray, I'm starting to realize that you are a living encyclopedia when it comes to wood finishes. Expect me to make future use of your knowledge and bow to it. I was aware that I could make waterproof blocks in oak, but it somehow feels fitting to have BBW blocks. A matter of showing to the sharpening trainees that I expect to welcome at this table, who's the master.
