Mühle Silvertip Fibre® 21mm and Storybook Soapworks Hook:
The scent of the Storybook Soapworks Hook, Gun Powder, Oak, Leather, Rum, Salt Water, Sandalwood, Cedar disappointed me a bit this morning. Seems like this one lapses a bit. In my memory it smelled much stronger to leather etc. but that was very disappointing in the with the Mühle Silvertip Fibre ® 21mm whipped foam. Good to shave with but not impressive in perception.
Blade and razor:
Used the Rapira Platinum Lux for the 7th time.
The Rapira Platinum Lux may be used again as it is still sharp enough. In the Above The Tie S2 the Rapira Platinum Lux is clearly present. The S2 makes a somewhat effective combo with most blades. So too here, but still comfortable for an open comb slant. Top tool.
Result: BBS.
Finally: with Rebul Dark Spice somewhat spicy fresh, the Weleda Aftershave Balsam caring and Storybook Soapworks Hook Splash, which smells nice and cares for, finished.
In the end, a good start of the day.

Jerusalem Harkos® Fibre and Razor Master Daichi (Ginger Bergamot):
After looking at pictures for a very long time, I purchased a shaving bowl from Saponificio Varesino and received it yesterday. Skeptical about the usefulness of this kind of accessory, nevertheless did it. This morning, with the Jerusalem Harkos® Fibre, I whipped up a lather in this beautiful bowl by Razor Master Daichi (Ginger Bergamot). This brush is a guarantee for a good lather. However, to my surprise, this morning this was different, than usual, particularly peppy foam.... I'm not much of a hyper person, so I guess it's pure emotion, unless it's the same tomorrow and further use of this bowl. To be continued, but by this result I am less bothered by this fun purchase.
Blade and razor:
Used the Rapira Platinum Lux for the 8th time.
The Rapira Platinum Lux ended up in the piggy bank today. Did it have to, nah? The 1st turn of the blade was with the Mühle R94 Rocca. To feel the difference the Rapira Platinum Lux for the 8th again in the Rocca. Certainly turn 1 was much better, but turn 8 was still acceptably good. Again I am convinced of the quality of this Rapira. At least when I use them.
Result: BBS.
Finally: some lubrication and moisturizing again with Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Kolonya Klasik Limon, Cien Men Hydro Moisturizing and Loris E-181 Noir Man.
Totally satisfied with the turn this morning.

Oumo Brush LE 095/102 / silk HMW gel tip 26 mm and Haslinger Sandelholz:
The Oumo Brush LE 095/102 / silk HMW gel tip 26 mm makes a nice lather from the Haslinger Sandelholz. Whether the shaving bowl of Saponificio Varesino contributes to this is not quite sure, but I must admit, that the beating into a nice lather in that bowl is very easy. Quite a nice acquisition therefore.
Blade and razor:
Used the Hema Personna for the 1st time.
A Hema Personna is an excellent blade. Don't know if they are still on the market, but this one is very nice and sharp. The Fatip Piccolo Special Edition (SB) with this Hema Personna makes for a very comfortable shave.
Result: BBS.
Finally: nice woody and somewhat spicy finish with Proraso Con Olio di Sandalo AS, Naturlife Krem Vazelin Argan Ve Aloevera Özlü and Oud 24 hours. That scent will linger for a while.
 
After a positive Covid result + being pretty bad for a few weeks. (luckily I have mild symptoms, it was for me only a big "flu"). This morning it was time to remove the beard that had grown in the meantime. Great to have a fresh face again.

Brush and soap:
Semogue SOC Bristle Cherrywood and TDS Cosmetics Roos:
In the Saponificio Varesino Ciotola "The Shaving Grail" with the Semogue SOC Bristle Cherrywood, I whipped up the TDS Cosmetics Rose. Although this bowl eases whipping, this effect was not so evident with this soap. I have to load quite a bit of the TDS to get a full and rich lather and today was no different. In any case, fine lather with its peculiar resinous scent in the base.
Blade and razor:
Used the Hema Personna for the 2nd time.
The Hema Personna shaves nicely. The shaving friendly Timeless Solid Bar scalloped 0.68 with the Hema Personna is a comfortable tool. Smooth without the feeling that something can go wrong.
Result: BBS.
Finally: with rose and some resin finished by PeReJa Rose edc, Kashmir Rose Lanna Oriental Spa Lotion and TDS Cosmetics Rose ASL.
Quiet grey old day.
