Brush and soap:
Semogue SOC Bristle Cherrywood and The Vulfix Classic Sandalwood:
The Vulfix Classic Sandalwood is a delicious soap, but the sandalwood could have been better called cinnamon, because this soft soap really smells like cinnamon. The smell in my nostrils is too sweet for sandalwood. That doesn't take away the fact that the Semogue SOC Bristle Cherrywood makes a fine foam, but also quite sweet.
Blade and razor:
Used the Treet Dura Sharp for the 1st time.
Again a Treet Dura Sharp to find out whether or not these blades work for me. The previous two I found useful, unpredictable, and sometimes very well shaving. Just like there is a lot of difference in the behaviour of the blade. I turn them over every day and put them in a different razor every day, but a very different feeling every day. This morning in the Merkur 38C HD Long Handle Barber Pole the Treet Dura Sharp behaves well, but yes, you can't do anything wrong with that razor either. It takes a little more time to get really smooth with this tame razor, but you won't damage anything.
Result: BBS.
Finally: after a splash of Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Tütün, some Mennen Baume Energisant and a dash of Provence et Nature Santal Absolu it was again a successful start to the day.
