Rockwell 6s / 6c / 2c

There is no thread about my favourite DE razor.
The Rockwell 6s is a three piece razor with interchangeable and flippable base plates. As every baseplate gives you two options this razor offers sex levels of adjustment with the following blade gaps:
R1: 0.008" (0.20 mm)
R2: 0.014” (0.35 mm)
R3: 0.019” (0.48 mm)
R4: 0.024” (0.61 mm)
R5: 0.027” (0.69 mm)
R6: 0.031” (0.79 mm)

An assembled Rockwell 6S weighs: 3.99 oz (113 grams).
The Rockwell 6S handle weighs 2.4 oz (68 grams).
The entire razor is 3.74” (9.5 cm) long from cap top to handle bottom.

The 6s is made of stainless steel in a matte tool like finish.

The 6c is basically the same but made of zamak which is available in white chrome an gun metal finish.
The 2c offers only one plate with R1/3.

IMHO the Rockwell 6s gives you smooth shaves on almost every baseplate. I can use all plates between 2 and 6, even for daily shaves.
For me this razor works with most blades.

It's my favourite razor. That's it.

A lot of people like this razor no doubt about that, it's not in my den but only because I find it a ugly razor, but the shaves are good. YMMV

I tried it in a pass around a while back when it first came out. I was not impressed because only two plates were efficient for me and the head was very oversized and not easy to manage. Still, it does have a loyal following here in the USA and so definitely a YMMV thing.

Here we go gentlemen, here's the pictures of this razor.
