A thoughtful quiet day in the journey I start with a Mühle Silvertip Fibre® 21mm and Le Père Lucièn - Cedre Patchouli. Not because it adds anything extra, but simply because it's enjoyable and is scheduled for this morning. Nice woody foam with something misty. That little brush is pretty good and sets the whole head in a nice thick layer of foam in no time.
Blade and razor:
The Personna Platinum Chrome (Red) for the 5th x used.
The Personna Platinum Chrome (Red) effortlessly reaches my 5 standard. It has to, because its average is above 8 turns. The RazoRock Game Changer 0.84-P with the Personna Platinum Chrome (Red) is again a great combination. Smooth shave, even the scalp on the crown. A measure for me, if it is smooth without harm, the tool is good. The angle of the shave is critical, because of the bulging of the skull and the wider a combination allows, the better. So that's what this combination does.
Result: BBS.
Finally: Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Tütün, Proraso Wood and Spice ASB and Loris E-303 Bulgari Aqua Marine. Nice masculine finish with lots of wood notes and still a little fresh.

This morning there were roses on the menu again. The Yaqi R1605-S Tuxedo loaded with Martin de Candre Rose. I noticed this morning how easy it is to pick up such a Tuxedo soap. So does the rather hard MDC. Nice foam!
Blade and razor:
The Personna Platinum Chrome (Red) for the 6th x used.
The Personna Platinum Chrome (Red) blade keeps going. Also this morning just nice and sharp and usable. In the Paradigm Diamondback I have to make sure that the angle of the blade, the Personna Platinum Chrome (Red), doesn't get too wide, that' s a property of this scraper. I have to let the top plate glide over the skin slightly to the touch, and then the razor shaves really well, if not it can bite. It doesn't matter which blade I put in, feeling the top plate is important, but then it also shaves excellent.
Result: BBS.
Finally: proven finish with the roses, PeReJa Rose edc, Naturlife Krem Vazelin Gül Ve Aloevera Özlü and Rose Fernelle Provence et Nature Edt.

The new Koraat arrived Tuesday, and today was it's maiden voyage. It's a stunning razor in appearance and performance, although, even with an extremely light touch, a bit too crisp for me, but that will work itself out. I especially like the Smoked Grey Aquaglass scales! The craftsmanship of these new bladesmiths, Koraat and Riga, is simply astounding!
The M&F brush is from the collaboration.. I don't consider it a true M&F, but in Finest, it makes a pretty nice little cream brush.
The latest edition of Simpsons creams is very impressive. Up there with the finest creams out there, IMHO.
One of those "memorable" shaves...

@BlacknTan Nice razor, nice brush. As for the M&F, I've 2 precollaboration and one collaboration brushes, had a collab more but sold it. I absolutely love the collabbrush I kept. I've always figured the thing about M&F is the knots, and that shows in the collab as well.

Perhaps you're right and I should look at the collaboration with a bit more generosity in my heart. I always loved the Sabini knots, and his Blonde Badger was always a favorite...
I should work on my attitudes a bit...
