Wow, does all pecan look like that? That has to be my favorite set of scales you have made to date torben:thumbup: We use a lot of pecan in our smoker for barbeque. It leaves a nice nutty flavor that isn't overpowering at all. I will have to check some and see if it looks that nice!

This might be my best scales so far, for one reason....Ray made them
: And very kindly send them to me,with other goodies(wich will find good use,in time)
As the name would indicate,this particular pecan has some type of fungus,hence the black stripes.
But if you have a load of pecan,why not try to split some,and see how it looks? Havnt started on your scales yet,have had too much work lately. But it will be done...erhhh sooner or later. Patience...as an american friend have told me several times

The razor is finished,at last...Took some time,but I`m pleased with the results,following Mr. Ray`s advice closely.Thanks Ray,for the kind advice and the wood/horn. It will not be forgotten.
Unfortunatelly,my DSLR´s also finished.Took a bad drop some time ago,and it`s now MIA,DOA or just plain dead.That is, as we say in Dane Land: Sur roev..aka. a bad smelling ass.. :-=
