Here's my little collection..

colection.jpg

The carborundum is for sharpening kitchen knives and bread-knifing crap blades.
The CF was my great-great granddad's as was the Silkstone.
The King combo was a recent purchase not that long before I bought the Coti.
(I've also got 5 Rolls Razor hones tucked away in their respective cases)

Sometimes you get lucky

In this case I think luck is a disturbing understatement. That is one hell of a nice collection. It looks like you love your La Verts. What stone is your favorite?

I picked these stones up in a very old shop.
A few years ago, i was in the shop, and bought 3 stones of each type.
I'm a collector of fixed blades, so they didn't get a lot of use.
A few months ago i started shaving with the open razor, so now the stones could have some use and i remembered the old shop. I was in the neigbourhoud and I payed them a visit and bought the rest of the stock.

I didn't have the change to checked them all out, but at the moment these are my favorites, could change offcourse after i checked them all out.

Coticules definitely are the most photo friendly stones I've seen lol. I'll put my TWO when I get a chance, one if vintage and a combo, the other is a La Verte.

We all love looking at coticules, you know you stop in from time to time just to admire them. It is high time for us to have a thread to show off our collections! Whether you have one stone or 100, dont be afraid to take some photo's and share them with everyone.

The long skinny LPB has an almost hybrid BBW, very unique.

Thanks for looking, and I cant wait to see some more great coticules.

Hi Seth!

I believe the fourth one from the left in the first photo is heading my way, right? lol
