Gents,
I'll be glad when my questions are better informed.
It's a great advantage to see what characteristics are seen in a particular stone. Is there a ways to get some feel for what one should expect to pay for a vault stone? Without knowing, it's sort of flying blind. Maybe it would be great, but irrelevant if I can't afford it.
Does that make sense? Is there a rule of thumb - by surface area or surf. area x weight? something that would give an idea of the ballpark cost?
Thank you for your patience w/ the noob question.
