[WTB] Friodur Stainless?

Nice, one of the old ones. For some reason, I really quite like these razors. While not quite a dime a dozen, they can be had for very reasonable money in excellent shape if you are sufficiently patient: €60. All things considered, Henckels' are probably one of the best potential investments in vintage razors, simply because the sheer of amount of them sold makes them quite immune to hype (there are exceptions, of course, such as the fabled #14 blade ones).

Regards,
Robin

Just an update: it went for nearly ...140 €, hahaha!

Me too with both razors. They both take very sharp edges but shave just like a carbon blade off my Charnley Forrest. Ralfy can attest to that edge being a little crispy. If you want to try it, Matt, let me know. Your Friend, Denny

Denny - this is a truly kind offer, but ain't worth too much hassle, I almost forgot about that razor. Unless you plan a flight to Poland, when you finally get your ass out of the snow. B)

Hi Matt--the offer still stands if you change your mind. I really don't mind the small hassle for one of us. I mentioned the razor, which looks just like the one in the picture, in a recent post about "soapstone" and said that it was a very smooth shave. Your pal, Denny
