Apollo (France)

In France, Paris to be more exact, the Société General de Coutellerie & Orfèvrerie produced cutlery and razors under the Apollo brand. They did this since 1907, unknown how long. Most of these needed proprietary blades.
Some were given away, branded with motormagazinelogo, or vineyardlogo, stuff like that:

I could never understand the French need for a proprietary blade, the three most famous is Apollo, Gibbs, and Ile de France. Surely these blades are no better than any other blades.

The blades are some Damascene steel. It also came with a scalloped top plate.....
