Brush and soap:
Omega 10019 and Wiener Seife Cederholz (wooden bowl):
Although Easter is a holiday for many, for me it feels like a normal Sunday, so the simple Omega 10019 with the somewhat more refined Wiener Seife Cederholz (wooden bowl) will do just fine. Nice lather, easy brush, head bobbing, done.
Blade and razor:
Used the Treet Carbon Steel for the 5th time.
The Treet Carbon Steel seemed a bit questionable this morning. In the Fasan Slant #42 little cut with the Treet Carbon Steel. The choice after 1 round was other blade or other razor. That became the Game Changer and see the Treet began to shave again. Big difference in effect of a razor so. Must admit that the blade is not everything anymore and has ended up in the piggy bank, but it still gave me a nice smooth shave.
Result: BBS.
Finally: nice woody finish with Ilgaz Düzce Tütün (Tabac), Naturlife Krem Vazelin Argan Ve Aloevera Özlü and Loris E-019 Byredo Super Cedar. Can stand it for a while.

Semogue SOC Badger Cherrywood and Le Père Lucièn - Cedre Patchouli:
Since I was curious about the difference between the Wiener Seife Cederholz (wooden bowl), which I used yesterday and the Le Père Lucièn - Cedre Patchouli, I whipped it up into a nice lather with the Semogue SOC Badger Cherrywood. That's not complicated with Le Père Lucièn - Cedre Patchouli. I must say, that the Wiener Seife Cederholz (wooden bowl) produces a similarly good lather. However, the scent of the LPL is much more substantial, but that is also partly due to the Patchouli, which is clearly in the foreground. Two fine soaps.
Blade and razor:
Used the Derby Extra Super Stainless for the 1st time.
To mark my lower limit again a new Derby Extra Super Stainless grabbed. Well I can shave with those blades and it went pretty well this time too. The Mühle R94 Rocca with the Derby Extra Super Stainless is apparently a good combination. Nice swift all around smooth without irritation or anything. Now let's see how far I get with it again, the average is at 4.57.
Result: BBS.
Finally: Ilgaz Düzce Tütün (Tabac), Cien Men Hydro Moisturizing and Loris E-019 Byredo Super Cedar was again the appropriate finale.

A fresh start to this 2nd Easter Day by utilizing the Edwin Jagger Bucktorn shaving soap. No menthol crystals in this soap this time nay the freshness comes from the fruity scent that the Sea Buckthorn berry holds.
With each use, I marvel why the manufacturer chose to design this puck with its small diameter. I like to use somewhat larger brushes and it is still a bit more work to load the brush orderly. Once loaded, frothing with the brush is quite easy and quickly you have the fresh smelling foam with sufficient shaving properties.
A gem I find is the small but quite heavy porcelain dish where the soap can be placed.
The Tatara Nodachi got the Manasuma top plate screwed on today and all of this was fitted with the Astra blue blade.
A smooth shaving combination that will appeal to shavers who find the Nodachi a bit too efficient.

J&T® Essen Jiamei Cosmetic imitation bristle 24 mm and BdF Distinto:
The J&T® Essen Jiamei Cosmetic imitation bristle 24 mm is a bulky brush that allows me to quickly create a large bowl of lather. When that's also from BdF Distinto, it's a total breeze. Nice decent smelling Italian style lather. I am a fan of the TFS soaps indeed.
Blade and razor:
Used the Derby Extra Super Stainless for the 2nd time.
Derby Extra Super Stainless does also in the 2nd turn what I expect from it. Good shave, but not extra sharp or so, easy to get the beard off. The Souplex OC with this Derby Extra Super Stainless is a basic combination, but still effective. Nice and smooth all around. Skipped yesterday, because then there was not enough growth, but now this was allowed extra. Fine anyway with this razor.
Result: BBS.
