Fasan

Fasan 42, with as curiosity that the cap has no red dot.

In combination with the numbering 1-4 on blades, it helps you keep track of which side of the blade to use, in order to maximize blade longevity. They provided an insert with one of there razors showing an elaborate scheme.

And this all metal Fasan slant is admired by my little friend, even without its case. I’ve never seen another of this model. Anyone else?

Great to know it’s YOU who has the other known model of this Fasan. Brotherhood in the blade.
Thank you. There’s more of those around, except they’re not Fasan-branded. Had to dig a bit through drawer 15, which has the “naked” razors, but found the one on top/on the right:

Interesting how the molds for so many razors existed (apparently) independent of the brands. I wonder how they were distributed and which ones were determined to be proprietary. As opposed to generic or universal. Thanks for sharing one of your naked specimens.

Pics are a bit crappy, sorry about that.
There’s three possibilities for the unbranded one: Fasan actually produced these like this, a previous owner replaced the bottom part for some reason, or, as I acquired this from a former East-German city, it was a DDR-clone. In case of the latter, a very early one, as Trumpf, Pneumant, KWC produced razors of progressively worse quality as time progressed.
