This soap is absolutely one of worst solid shaving soaps I have tried. It feels chemical, does not glide very well and my skin feels very dry. It remembers me of De Vergulde Hand shaving stick, bbrrrr

Merkur Digress with Rapira Platinum blade; 2 passes for the face, level 3,5 and 1 pass for the head, level 2.
Omega boar brush; the golden ring in the handle cracks, but it’s still a keeper. The hair in this brush is very soft with a nice backbone.
Tabac shaving soap and for AS the TFS tabacum crepita.

Brush and soap:
J&T® Padoek finest 2-band badger Virginia Sheng and Stirling Wintergreen:
After a pleasant evening and a deep night's sleep it was important to get the skin out of the creases with sufficient freshness. Well that works with some Prep first and then a firm Wintergreen foam. Then the eyes are open! The J&T® Padoek finest 2-band badger Virginia Sheng beats a nice firm, fat and pungent foam from the Stirling Wintergreen. You have to love it, but then it is also delicious. If you still know the scent of Agre-Gola throat lozenges and think up the tingle of menthol, you are on the right track.
Blade and razor:
The PolSilver Super Iridium for the 4th x used. This morning's PolSilver Super Iridium is the real one and they are starting to get very different now. This razor is great to use and does as I expect from a PolSilver De Fatip Piccolo Special Edition (SB) and the PolSilver Super Iridium is a super soft combination that shaves like the best, without the feeling that it may bite. BBS result.
Finally: The Stirling Wintergreen AS is very invigorating and makes it into a spicy refreshing whole with the soap. The Vivo Per Lei Hyacinth Hand & Body Lotion for the necessary care and hydration. Tasty fragrance is not needed with the Wintergreen.

 

[Snuff]

First time for the Nodachi.

I"ve tried it for a week and it's not one that I want to keep. don't like the handle at all and not a really smooth shave. As always YMMV and I hope it does.
