J.A.Henckels honing problem

As far as scale replacements are concerned, beauty lies, as they say, in the eyes of the beholder. Some like European elegance, other Las Vegas...

I thought that too. Then I saw the cracking wedge that hits the tip of the razor when it closes. These aren't authentic Friodur scales. I would love a pair of those. But instead, the ones on my 8/8 Friodur actual interfere with me actually using it as well as cheap.

(By the way, I hate Vegas.)
