Brush and soap:
LiJüN silvertip 3 band and The Gentleman's Groom Room Essence of Scotland Scottish Heather:
My oldest brush, used 128x, was allowed to step in again this morning, the LiJüN silvertip 3 band. It's funny to see that there are many newer brushes, which have been used significantly more than this one, but that's probably due to my preference and that my picker is always looking for unique combinations of brush, soap, razorr and blade. So this morning, the The Gentleman's Groom Room Essence of Scotland Scottish Heather was up for use. It produces a nice lather with this brush.
Blade and razor:
Used the Ahshana Super Chromium for the 1st x.
Ahshana Super Chromium is completely unknown to me and I cannot find any information about it. It is a Dutch blade, but that says nothing about the country of production. Jan Leermakers sent me some to try out and add to my collection. The blade shaves quite well for a relic from the old box. I am nice and smooth in 3 rounds. In the Gillette Black Beauty Long Handle adjustable at 5 for the skull and 7 for the cheeks and throat the Ahshana Super Chromium does its job efficiently and reasonably comfortably. Let's just say average good. How it stays, time will tell, but for a blade of yesteryear quite good.
Result: BBS.
Finally: with the Rebul Dark Spice, Abzehk Avocado cream and Pinaud-Clubman Whiskey Woods is the scent of the Scottish Highlands pretty well consolidated. Now back to enjoying spring in Twente.
