Mühle Silvertip 3 band and La Maison de Marseille Tonifiant:
Curious by the jars of preshave that have come with my shaving gear, I made myself an oil of jojoba oil, almond oil and Toco-Tholin drops. Wanted to know if this would improve the shave and would kill the foam as well. Now the places to shave are oiled with the Toco-Tholin Jojoba oil. Then made a nice foam with the Mühle Silvertip 3 band and La Maison de Marseille Tonifiant soap. This results in a fine foam with a light southern French touch. This brushed up and the foam stays nicely. Next shave.
Blade and razor:
The Shapu Super Stainless for the 6th x used. The Shapu Super Stainless does a good job, but after 6x it's nice enough for this blade. Doubtful, maybe 7x could be done as well, but why. I won't live to be 150 anyway, and so far my stock of blades is still for sure. The combination Blackbird V2 machined finish 85mm handle and Shapu Super Stainless is fine. Nothing to worry about and a nice smooth shave. Result BBS.
Finally: The question remains what the influence of the preshave oil was. I don't know the answer to that question. I don't think preshave adds much if you have good shaving foam in the brush and therefore on your face. At most it's nice and refreshing when you have a cooling preshave. Well that was the beginning, the final was made up of Rebul Lavanda Mennen Baume Energisant, L.T. Piver lotion Lavande and a puff Panier & Sens Lavanda EdT.

Before the foam was added, it was freshened with Toco-Tholin Jojoba oil. Yesterday I put some menthol crystals in it. Although it doesn't help with shaving, it certainly cools down. But I still think it does something for the skin and the shaving feeling. With the J&T® Marble Wood APShaveCo SynBad then knocked a nice fat foam from Le Père Lucièn - Cedre Patchouli and that remained well on the preshave oil.

The Astra Superior Platinium for the 1st time used. A fresh Astra Superior Platinium in the scraper, because I had bought another 100 of them and of course I had to try them. Well as known, fine blade, certainly for the price! The combi Qshave with Astra Superior Platinium shaves well, but that razor is starting to get a bit too basal and gross, so I like it, but it can be much nicer. So it disappears from my regular rotation. I shaved very well in the category: can't do much better. Result BBS.
Finally: simple and smooth finish with the Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Tütün, Naturlife Krem Vazelin Argan Ve Aloevera Özlü and Pinaud-Clubman Special Reserve. That was him for today.
