Plastic fliptops were also made. Here's one in white pollopas, with gilded knob and topcap. Unfortunately, mine has plateloss on the topcap. Note the little screw on the side of the handle that keeps the whole thing together:

Ok, Bought it. Delivery probably next month. I will dig deeper into these razors. I am starting to appreciate these more.That’s vintage. Possibly pre-war. Handles were changed some time post war, this is not a postwar handle. You need one of these.
