The scent is growing on me. I notice its getting a bit smoother around the edges with age. The soaps is getting harder too. All in all, a great soap with a terrific scent and shave characteristics.

The Futur (a present from a friend) is a whole different kettle of fish next to its clone from China, the China one is smooth as silk, even at its highest setting never threatening, and hardly any bladefeel under 4.5. The real thing is less friendly, lots of blade feel (even on 2!), lots of sound, still a nice shave, and BBS.
The Stirling Varen is one of my favorite shaving soaps, what a smell, less harsh over time now, more earthy i would say.
The Green Vetiver is a nice companion, but i need to get me a real Fougère Aftershave (with some punch), suggestions are welcome ;-)

I had yesterday a visit in the hospital because a little inconvenience was caused, so I had a nice fresh shave with Mühle Silvertip Fibre® 21mm and TFS Bergamotto Neroli Forte. Beautiful invigorating citrus foam.
Blade and razor:
The Gem Personna Pfte for the 7th x used.
The Gem Personna Pfte blades seem almost indestructible. Already the 7th x and just shaving like the best. In the Gem G Bar this Gem Personna Pfte is a very nice combination to shave with. When the head glides flat over the skin, the shaving result is almost unbeatable. Expensive high end DE razors may feel a little more comfortable or luxurious, but I like these Gems etc. Very nice shavers.
Result: BBS.
Finally: Finishing with the Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Kolonya Klasik Limon to emphasize the citrus. Seinz. After Shave Balsam for the soft skin and Loris E-108 Hugo to please the nurse.
Now back home and not shaved today.

Couldn't resist today and now a lot fresher after a round with the J&T® Marble Wood APShaveCo SynBad and BdF Esclusivo. This soap has a powdery barbershop scent for me.
Blade and razor:
The Perma-Sharp Super for the 1st x used.
A fresh Perma-Sharp Super. That blade is certainly not an unkind one. This is the 2nd one I use. The first did it 7x and this immediately gives the familiar feeling of a good blade, in the direction of Rapira and Voskhod. The Gillette Black Beauty Long Handle adjustable at 6 lets the Perma-Sharp Super to its full advantage. 3 laps tightly smooth.
Result: BBS.
Finally: With Butterfly Water, Weleda Aftershave Balsam and Loris E-012 Attitude finished with a fresh floral head.
Fine.

As many will know, I'm a big fan of Mama Bears soaps and then you have to be careful not to become less critical.

And so here is a critical note about the smell of the Caribbean Bay Rhum because in this fragrance I really miss the typical spice smell and the sweetness dominates.
But as always, the smell is a matter of YMMV.

I couldn’t agree more with you @Wilco Roos regarding the Varen.
For that Fougere as...maybe Marbert Man Classic?

The Hinoki Woods has from the jar a very Sharp scent. However, when lattered up the sweet scent notes comes out better. That makes it a nice and complex scented soap.
